ISA World Championship of SUP and Paddleboarding to be Held in Denmark!

The 2017 International Surfing Association World Championship of SUP and Paddleboarding is to be held in Denmark next year.  Denmark was the first ever country to seek candidacy for this event.  As well, Denmark will be the first ever European country to host the championship.  Although Denmark is a bit colder than ISA's usual locations, it offers  the waterways of Copenhagen for racing and the shores of Klitmøller, aka Cold Hawaii, for the surf contest.  Most importantly, Denmark is in a prime location, which makes it accessible to more paddlers as well as those setting up and attending the event.
