The SIC Weedless 8.3 is a high performance, all-water conditions fin. The 8.3 size fins provides good surface area for stability, perfect for the bigger body-types, or those not wanting to sacrifice stability in a performance fin. The 7.0 is geared towards those who are solely focused on top performance as a smaller fin has less surface area in the water, for less drag and tops in speed. The 7.0 is also well suited for the smaller body-types who don't need a lot of surface area in a fin for stability. The Weedless fins surface area has sharp edges for the ultimate in speed, and it's raked design is primo for paddling open ocean, if your board glides over a patch of seaweed, the fin will not catch and you will fly right through it, verses flying right over the top of your board! It is tops in lightweight, build with high-grade 12K carbon for strength.
