For 2026, the Puma receives its most significant update in years. Following extensive testing and rider feedback, the outline has been refined, volume distribution adjusted, and the tail shape modified. The standing area and nose now feature slightly reduced volume for improved control and responsiveness, while a new round tail with a more defined edge maintains speed and enhances usability through turns and open ocean. With it's semi-recessed flat deck, it provides mega-stability. The Puma boards share a rocker line with the latest and greatest Carolina Pro Carbon race board, but gives that extra stability. It's perfect for those wanting the utmost confidence in staying on their board. The displacement nose design is a perfect blend for speed in the flat water/ harbor conditions, and has a clean rocker-line with full volume to punch through the chop in open ocean conditions. You can move around comfortably in the standing area, and the pulled-in tail makes the board super maneuverable. Push your limits on the water and get the best of both worlds with extra stability and extra speed!
Elite Pro Carbon construction is cutting edge aerospace carbon fibers and ultra-light core materials that are combined with our unique vacuum construction, making Pro Carbon the lightest, stiffest and fastest construction technology available. Featuring a PVC reinforced deck for integrity, plus carbon rails for stiffness reducing flex, and making the board ultra responsive. Carbon Innegra reinforcement adds impact protection around the rail lip, the nose and tail. Pro Carbon is an elite construction technology that is standard in our production race boards allowing you to own exactly the same boards that NSP pros Travis Grant, Titouan Puyo, Annie Reickert and Ty Judson win on. By using Innegra Carbon for the rail lips in favor of “conventional” biaxial carbon, one of the most ding-prone areas on any board is drastically reinforced without weight penalties. Ding resistance, durability and damage tolerance all increase, protecting your equipment. NSP boards benefit from this construction, along with Uni-directional rail bands (on the side) and 100% biaxial carbon layups (on the deck and bottom).
